Chief Executive Officer 
12 yearsJob Description : CFO OMAN Job Location: Sohar-Oman Function Purpose: Lead and direct all financial activities in the Company in accordance with the Board of Directors approved business strategy/plan and governance structure. Ensure that the Company is sufficiently funded to carry out its business. Key Responsibilities: · Lead the overall strategic operation of Finance, Procurement & Contracts, and Risk and Compliance. · Responsible for directing and overseeing all cash management, investments, budgeting, taxation, and financial reporting in accordance with the Company’s business strategy/plan approved by the Board of Directors. · Lead the treasury management to ensure strong partnerships are established with financial institutions, including lenders and equity funds. · Lead the development and implementation of funding and investment to sustain business operations and future growth. · Assure full coordination of financial activities within the Company’ s business units and to drive cost management and responsibility throughout the organization. · Lead and monitor annual budgeting process to ensure all business divisions contribute in a timely manner. · Contribute towards the development of the Company’s strategy and business plan as a member of the Executive Team. · Review utilization of budgets at periodic intervals to identify any variances, and recommend actions that should be taken to redress the variance, as needed. · Advise on all strategic matters related to budget management, financial risk, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and securing new funding for both on-going and new business activities. · Forecast and manage cash flows to validate and support corporate and business requirements. · Prepare financial statements in accordance with international reporting standards and management and financial reports to reflect performance of each business vertical or business unit against targets. · Develop, review and analyze business cases for investment. · Manage key stakeholder relationships with financial entities. · Lead and monitor compliance with all applicable Oman laws and the organization’s policies and procedures. · Set overall KPIs and targets for the finance function in line with organizational performance targets. · Responsible for handling all taxation and audit matters of the Company. · Other duties as assigned. Skills, Qualifications & Experience: Skills: · Excellent communication and people skills · Experience in significant financial transactions and negotiations · Ability to strategize and solve problems · Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team · Focus on achieving results within a Governance framework · Attention to accuracy and detail Minimum Qualification/Experience of Function Head: · Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or Business Accounting or Finance along with a professional certificate or designation such as CFA or equivalent required. · Engineering Degree in any discipline would be ideal. · Master’s Degree / MBA is preferred. · 12+ years of experience in a Senior Finance position such as a CFO or Corporate Controller or head of finance. · At least 5 years of experience managing a Treasury Function and dealing with financial institutions. · Experience in managing growing Organizations. · Experience in leading IPOs would be an advantage.
