About The Role To help take them on this journey, our client is looking to appoint a CFO to lead the finance, technology and logistics teams. This person needs to provide robust financial leadership to the business, whilst owning the delivery of a funding roadmap. You'll partner with the founders, board and ELT to help to help build an expanded product offering, scale retail operations, introduce new brands to the portfolio and expand globally. Reporting to the CEO and Founder, this will involve leading all business strategy, planning, due diligence, investor, board and shareholder relations and lead all funding and financing strategies with external parties. There will also be a strong emphasis on business partnering with other members of the executive team in providing sound commercial advice across all aspects of the business. With responsibility for finance, technology and logistics you must demonstrate breadth of leadership skills. We are looking for an experienced finance professional currently in an executive level, CFO or Finance Director position. A background in a consumer oriented / retail business is preferable as well as an understanding of multi-channel/entity/subsidiary structures. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to be external facing to analysts and ASX and therefore, exposure to a listed environment would be valuable. More than this, we are seeking a CFO who can embrace brand values, put people and customer first and lead and inspire a highly driven team that is hungry for continued commercial success.
