General Manager

Job Description : GM DUBAI UAE an established group of companies in the retail industry with a strong online and physical presence in over 200 stores in UAE and other countries in the region. They are looking for a General Manager to join their team to handle international and local premium brands and manage the entire fashion franchise business. As a General Manager, your role is to head and assist the company’s steady growth in the market. You will be reporting directly to the VP of Retail and will be managing and driving your team to achieve set objectives. Oversee day-to-day business operations. · Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans. · Overseeing new franchisees and provides training and information on the business policies and procedures. · Reviewing contracts, processing renewals, and enforcing licensing expectation. · Develop strategic plans for optimised productivity and to improve revenue. · Review and improve organisational efficiency by developing procedures, overseeing employees, forming a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement. · Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships. · Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve sales, profitability, market share, and business plan objectives. · Analysing accounting and financial data. · Bachelor’s degree in business management or a master’s in business administration. · At least 10 years of relevant working experience in a similar role and within the retail industry. · Strong financial reporting background, managing profit & loss within a retail business. · Managing multiple international fashion franchise brands. · Strong working knowledge of operational procedures.
