Supply Chain Director

Job Description : SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR PHILIPPINES The Supply Chain Director will lead and direct all facets of supply chain management including, but not limited to purchasing, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, material forecasting, capacity planning and sourcing, master scheduling, inventory control and financial costing. Create the company’s supply chain strategy by establishes annual goals and objectives, (including stretch targets) in coordination with corporate objectives, and manages performance to ensure attainment Manage inventory and establishes controls to ensure it is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimised supply chain risk Direct and coordinate global supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimisation, profitability maximisation, and KPIs resulting in the maximisation of customer satisfaction Develop strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimise and improve on the value of the entire function Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement by ensuring supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards Participate in existing and new product planning processes to assure timely acquisition of materials to support product launches by planning, managing, and coordinating all activities related to the sourcing and procurement needed to meet the changing levels of product demand Participate in the design and implementation of new ERP system and optimise its use Lead negotiation efforts for major contracts Analyse data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner Work directly with sales, operations, and customer service teams to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers Monitor and correct inventory levels at outside warehouses (3PL) and internally to ensure rotation and maximise working capital To be successful in this Supply Chain Director job, you must also be able to lead and coach team members in maintaining excellence in cGMP, train and evaluate and provide constuctive feedback. You must also have experience in creating and managing departmental budget and creation of supply chain KPIs. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain/logistics, finance or a similar field Previous work experience as a Supply Chain Director or similar capacity 10 - 15 years of direct management and progressive experience in purchasing and materials management roles, supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management experience Excellent strategic, analytical and negotiation skills are required Hands-on experience with supply chain management software (such as SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, etc.) Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills
