Financial Controller

Job Description : FC MALAYSIA An exciting Financial Controller job has just become available at one of the listed IT companies in Petaling Jaya. About the Financial Controller Role: In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end finance operations of its group and subsidiaries. Take charge of the full spectrum of the integrated finance functions, including operational finance, corporate finance, treasury and taxation Review all monthly management accounts, and any announcements, and quarterly statutory reports in line with requirements of a public listed company Improve the financial departmental operations and ensure timeliness, accuracy and efficiency in all the tasked deliverable Work closely with auditors, tax agent, company secretary and tax authority Provide stand-in support services to departments under the extended Finance departments, namely credit, treasury and purchasing Participate in any integration of operations system to the financial ERP system To succeed in the Financial Controller job, you will need experience working for a public listed company. Minimum of eight years’ experience in a Finance Manager/Senior Group Accountant/Commercial Manager role Must have experience working for public listed companies Possess ACCA/CIMA/MACPA or degree in accounting or its equivalent Good leadership and presentation skills Good work experience/proficiency in ERP system usage and system integration Good commercial acumen and good compliance oriented in operational internal controls and other statutory compliance Good legal understanding of commercial and business risk Indians preferred
