Internal Audit Head

Job Description : HOD - Internal Audit at KENYA Leading Hospital at KENYA Frame annual audit strategy constituting of audit objectives, risk based internal audit plan, resourcing model and schedule. Prepare guidelines enlisting all potential range of audit activities and auditable entities. Develop and execute comprehensive internal audit programs and checklists. Liaison with Board to ensure timely & adequate completion of the planned audits. Ensure high quality audit observations and generate value added reports. Evaluate and improve risk management & governance processes. Present audit findings and progress to senior management and audit committees. Provide inputs to strengthen standard operating procedures (SOPs) & delegation of powers. Conduct system studies & suggest process and controls improvements. Execute special assignments and report findings & recommendations to management. Conduct forensic investigations & assist in maintaining strong ethical environment. Conduct fraud investigations and special reviews on management directions. Develop framework to monitor statutory and other compliances on regular basis. Assisting management in introducing and improving risk management and internal controls. Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely compliance / closure of issues. Drafting SOPs based on current practicesand bestpractices Gathering action plan from functional heads and preparing final reportsincluding executiveSummary Tracking status of action planscommitted in audit reports on monthlybasis Preparing and updating auditprograms, Risk Control Metrics andchecklists Desired Profile: CA / ICWA / CMA with 10+ years of Audit Experience preferably in hospital/ healthcare/ diagnostics industry Must have knack for details and a go getter Good at written and oral English Compensation: Net Salary $6000 - $7000 per month (Negotiable) + Family Accommodation + Transport + Medical + Airfare + All Expat Benefits
