Job Description : REGIONAL HSSE DIRECTOR SINGAPORE A leading supply chain and logistics solutions provider is recruiting for a Regional HSSE Director job. In this job, you will develop and implement health, safety, security and environment (HSSE) strategies, and processes within the region. In this position, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of HSSE objectives, act as the liaison between group HSSE department and regional businesses, drive group initiatives throughout the region, and serve as HSSE expert and centre of excellence for the business. Collect data, analyses and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence related incident which has occurred at the workplace Assist the employer or the safety and health committee in organising and implementing occupational safety and health programmes in the company Inspect and assess risks and hazards at the workplace to ensure no bodily injury in the place of work Coordinate and participate in the investigation of all incidents and conditions which caused a loss or had the potential to cause loss to the company Lead and educate the workforce on safety and environment standards, particularly the Fatal Five Standards, and review and maintain own plus staff qualifications routinely to ensure they are current and up to date Manage the review of HSSE reports and take appropriate action to ensure sites are managing safety incidents according to agreed processes and that HSSE systems are utilised as required Promote the need for the business to keep key risks visible and effectively controlled and drive completion of all audit requirements, including management participation Influence critical HSSE behaviour expectations To succeed in this Regional HSSE Director role, you must have at least 12 years' health and safety experience within the manufacturing environment. 12 years of extensive experience within the logistics/heavy machinery manufacturing industry Knowledgeable in all Singapore Legislation and Accredited Management System (ISO45001 and ISO14001) Strong influencing and communication skills, able to work with and care for the whole spectrum of the human individual Solid understanding of the regulatory framework and statutory regulations is
