Group Supply Chain Head

Job Description : GROUP SUPPLY CHAIN HEAD DUBAI 20+ years experience · Direct the Group's overall supply chain operations including procurement, sourcing, logistics, shipping, demand planning and product registration. · Develop supply chain strategies that prioritize initiatives to improve operational capabilities and effectiveness · Strong coordination with the procurement and sourcing team to align on the demand planning · Identify most accurate shipping strategies and maintain strong working relationships with strategic shipping lines, carriers and freight forwarders to assure cost and delivery targets are met · Liaise with logistics networks to utilize global shipping contracts to drive the best value and service while ensuring business continuity · Liaise with the Sales Team on the sales forecast · Implement logistics strategies, tracking goods from the origination point to the warehouse · Manage inventory and establish controls in order to minimize the supply chain risks · Participate in the design and implementation of the new ERP system · Work on setting the departmental as well as the individual’s KPIs in order to minimize the risks and be aligned with the company’s objectives · Review external trends and identify internal opportunities for continuous improvement · Manage recruiting, training and supervising a team who are responsible for day-to-day activities Job Requirements: · Demonstrated success as a Supply Chain leader across all disciplines within supply chain including planning, procurement, logistics and shipping, within a region or global environment required · Solid Knowledge and experience in setting up process, policies, systems & KPI’s for all supply chain activities · Experience in negotiations within cross-trading is required · Exposed to multiple Markets preferably in China, India and European markets · Experience in agricultural products like Animal Feed, Pesticides and Veterinary Medicine is an added value. · Position requires traveling mainly but not limited to China, India, Europe , Africa up to three months per year (nonconsecutive) · English Language Proficiency, Arabic and French is a plus
