Job Description : SUPPLY CHAIN HEAD MALAYSIA A multinational manufacturing company is recruiting for a Supply Chain Head job to In this position, you will be tasked to strategise and guide the supply chain functions to address areas such as improvement in planning, contract terms, quality improvement, sourcing and supply alternatives, and inventory management. Manage and oversee the procurement of raw material and indirect goods and services as requested by users Carry out supplier management activities such as contract negotiations, quality management, and supply assurance within the region Source and evaluate other technological solutions to improve tracking and reporting of logistics activities Oversee raw material lead time management to ensure delivery to customer is met in a timely manner Identify optimal shipment and transportation routes to ensure effective timing and minimal transport cost Liaise with 3PL logistics service providers to ensure that all services are in accordance with agreed upon SLA Oversee and getting hands-on in managing Malaysia customs brokers to ensure goods are cleared in a timely and low-cost manner Be a driver of cost reduction and profit improvement programs for raw material and packaging by keeping close contact with R&D and procurement team within the region Establish KPI objectives that are in line with SEA business objectives as well as the procurement functional objectives To succeed in the Supply Chain Head role, you will need to have strong hands-on experience in contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, managing warehousing and logistics functions as well as a matured sense of relation between commercial and supply chain activities. Degree qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any related field More than 20 years of working experience in management supply chain management position Ability to manage multiple functions concurrently while meeting deadlines and delivering quality work Experience with ERP/SAP/Oracle Srong communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders Strong analytical, forecasting and problem-solving abilities to manage unforeseen circumstances
