Strategy Director

Job Description : STRATEGY DIRECTOR UAE an ambitious and exceptionally fast-paced organization, is looking for a sagacious Director of Strategy in the United Arab Emirates. The Role The incumbent would lead the planning, development, and implementation of the company's strategic plans with a focus on managing and mitigating risks. Supervise the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and completion of key projects to ensure consistent delivery within timelines and budgets, and manage the identification and development of strategic partnerships required to support the company in achieving its objectives and targets. Succinctly, you will be responsible for; · Manage the development of strategic roadmaps and operational plans to enable the achievement of the company's strategy and objectives · Support the execution of transaction-related opportunities (e.g. mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures activities) to grow and diversify the company's portfolio · Manage research activities to stay abreast of industry trends, and stay up-to-date with sectoral, regulatory, and financial changes that may affect customer needs and service offerings · Define policies, standards and guidelines for project management across the company with the executive management team and department heads · Manage effective monitoring and tracking of project progress against identified milestones. · Lead the development of control and governance mechanisms and monitor their implementation to ensure clear accountabilities and effective delegation of responsibilities · Manage the periodic monitoring, evaluating and reporting on performance of the company against defined KPIs and targets · Manage the development and ensure adherence to a strategic partnership management framework, including policies and processes for identifying, classifying, managing and evaluating relationships with partners · Supervise the development of a risk management framework and risk management strategies in line with leading practices to ensure the timely identification and mitigation of any strategic and operational risks that may arise · Participate and support all company's health, safety and environment initiatives, including campaigns, training, emergency drills, etc. The Person · You will come armed with a minimum of 15 years of experience in designing the strategy for a food & beverage business with 7 years in a managerial position · Expertise in managing strategy functions, including organization-wide strategic planning and performance management activities and initiatives · Expertise in end-to-end project management · Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a must, and a master' degree is preferable · Relevant Certification: Certified Strategy and Business Planning Professional, Project Management Professional Certification or similar certification from an accredited institution is preferred
