Finance Controller

Job Description : FINANCIAL CONTROLLER GHANA FOR MANUFACTURING To be overall Finance head of a manufacturing Unit Management of day - to -day treasury functions and cash handling Prepare quarterly return and submitting to the free zone board before the due date Co-ordinate with clearing agents for import and export activities of the business and arranging relevant documents To develop and maintain all necessary financial controls, Systems and processes to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company's finances Timely Consolidation and closing of monthly/quarterly/ annual close of books of accounts in the plant Ensure timely submission of Daily / Weekly / Monthly Management reports Develop and monitor the costing systems for the plant and provide all necessary information to Managing director To keep stringent control over Assets and properties of the unit Assure that the periodic reporting requirements to banks are met in a timely manner; Review the daily bank status reports and cash flow forecasts and initiate the necessary directives to optimize the use of cash across company's operations. Treasury Management, Fund raising activities and liquidity management. Daily visit / travel to bank and Free zone board office Required Candidate profile Desired Candidate Profile: Must have a good command of the English language; be computer literate with knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Can work 8-12 hrs depending on the work load from Monday-Saturday. Previous African Countries work experience is a must. Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant. Desiredwork experience: Minimum 7 years. Location of posting: Tema-Ghana.
