Commercial Finance Manager

Job Description : COMMERCIAL FINANCE MANAGER THAILAND one of the leading FMCG based in Bangkok. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a role for finance professional who has solid commercial finance and business partnering skills. In this business partnering role you will be responsible for developing appropriate financial strategies and implement programs in accordance with the business's strategic objectives. Provide financial counsel and analysis for proposed strategic growth initiatives, monitor local operations performance against financial plans and ensure management is advised on exposure issues Drive development and preparation of solid financial business plans to ensure the affiliate delivers its financial commitments Advise senior management in areas of profit maximisation, resource prioritisation, negotiating with distributors and day-to-day operations. Anticipate market activities that can impact business. Provide economic/political scenarios Provide timely inputs to management regarding any financial risks, including those associated with trade activities and inventory issues across the supply chain. Provide recommendations on how to manage these risks Drive the demand management team to develop robust demand forecasts to achieve acceptable accuracy levels Ensure the proper inventory mix is maintained at the distributor to ensure no stock outs Provide support to the business relating to financial analysis, evaluation and justification of business models, financial planning & controls, gross margin improvement, risk evaluation, licensing agreements, contracts, and return on investment Summarise and communicate complex financial situations in a clear/concise manner explaining thought processes and analysis to Senior Management. Support GM in key decisions and ensure responsible investment decisions Master Degree in Accounting or Finance is required Minimum 10 years experience in finance/accounting at a senior level with evident success Experience in leading a team of finance professionals Strong leadership and able to provide the insight, knowledge and leadership to improve functional area and build the business FMCG background would be advantageous Fluent English – both oral and written and native Thai speaker Self-motivated, self-organised, and able to work with minimum supervision Able to drive financial results across the business and functions through direct and indirect influence
