Job Description : Head Marketing- FMCG NIGERIA Senior Marketing professional for the position of Head Marketing for a 200 Million Dollar FMCG Company. The organization is a part of a 1.5 Billion Dollar Business conglomerate. Scope : - Overall accountability of managing marketing activities for the designated product portfolio in keeping with the objectives set out for the concerned brands & products. - Responsibility of Marketing Planning & Execution - leading & implementing Strategies, Processes, Commercial Execution, Goals & Target Delivery - with associated Process Controls, People Management, Cross-Functional Support and Coordination, etc. - Includes coordination & managerial roles internally, along with external agency, partner & vendor handling. - Requires minimal supervision. Job Specification : - Responsible for leading the conceptualization, development, and execution of multi-year marketing strategies and annual business plans for the Edible Oil, Seasoning products, Rice brands and home care products to drive long term sustainable business growth. - Responsible for planning & execution of all aspects of the marketing function for the assigned product portfolio. Developing & activating the annual marketing plan for the concerned products in sync with organizational plans. - Planning and executing strategies in keeping with Brand, Category & Product objectives & KPIs. - Market Research and all forms of Syndicated & Customized Studies pertaining to the designated categories like Brand Health Tracks, Usage & Attitude Studies, Concept, Product, Packaging and Communication Tests to name a few. - Develop and activate Knowledge & Insights pertaining to Consumer, Industry, Trade, Competition and so on. - Developing and implementing communication strategies for the products & brands. - Ownership & responsibility for excellence for all ATL, BTL & TTL Initiatives that are part of the Marketing & Category Plans. - Plan & Execute Digital & Social Media initiatives. - Lead all commercial execution pertaining to the role, in coordination with internal departments (e. g. production, supply chain, sales, distribution, RTM, R&D, Procurement) and external partners (e.g. agencies, vendors, regulators, support & service providers), thereby delivering successful marketing initiatives across platforms & geographies. - Organizing and conducting community outreach & CSR programs. - Managing, supervising & developing the team reporting into the position. - Implementation and maintenance of quality systems and processes with specific focus on growth, cost reduction and continuous improvement. - Responsible for market activation programs, consumer promotions and trade initiatives - with robust control & tracking mechanisms and effective metrics. - Product management for the portfolio, including Innovation & NPD. - Developing Brand Associations & Properties across media vehicles & consumer touch points. Remuneration Structure : Overseas Salary/ Savings (Tax Free, Transferred to NRE Bank A/c in India, payable on quarterly basis) + monthly local salary + Performance Bonus + Fully furnished accommodation + company maintained car with driver + Domestic help allowance + School Fee reimbursement (equivalent to Indian School, Lagos) for 2 children + Medical reimbursement + Insurance for self + LTA to the home country once a year with 30 days leave with tickets.
