Job Description : INTERNATIONAL FINANCE DIRECTOR LONDON UK new senior finance opportunity - As a result of ongoing successes and investment, a Global Media brand is seeking a high calibre Director of Financial Control & Operations Within the role you will have the opportunity to lead a hugely exciting, key transformation project on an international scale The role will initially set the foundations for a global controlling function, through development of consistent policies and procedures, as well as designing and implementing our location strategy. The role offers a unique opportunity to quickly transition into a Director of Finance Shared Services role, with global accountability for controlling operations and management of a large scale team. Key elements and the initial focus of the role will be as follows Provision of support / drive development and roll out of Global accounting policies, working alongside the Group Finance team Lead the design and implementation of our location strategy for our Global Controlling organisation. Drive ongoing process improvements across the international group to support the business as it? continues to evolve. ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS A strong understanding and experience of working within an Operational Finance setting, as well as the ability to present complex information clearly and flag the risks to senior stakeholders. Shared services experience Strong experience in managing large scale transformation projects and initiatives specifically in areas of automation across finance and shared services set up and design Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to successfully influence individuals at all levels. Ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines, handling multiple priorities at any given time. Strong business acumen and commercial understanding. Ability to manage and influence change and deal effectively with change management initiatives. Strong leadership skills and recruitment experience in which you have built and developed a high performing team Qualified accountant (or overseas equivalent ) with significant post-qualification experience (most likely to be 10 years plus but not limited to)
