Business Control Head

Job Description : HEAD OF BUSINESS CONTROL BELGIUM A company active in the energy sector is currently looking to hire a Head of Business Control to join their offices in Brussels. Thanks to your experience in Controlling Process and Management, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will have an essential role in it. Your main responsibilities as the new Head of Business Control will include: Be fully accountable of the Controlling Process (Budget, Medium Term Plan, variance analysis) for the multiple entities within the scope in close collaboration with the Operational Managers and aligned with the corporate requests Ensure the quality and accuracy of the information received and reported within different IS Systems Collaborate with the Financial Control team on the monthly & quarterly reporting Organize the review of the performance for the installation projects and maintenance contracts Make proposal to improve the BU financial performance: costs reduction, process optimization, contracts pricing, etc. Organize a strong control on the Support Functions costs: budget construction by department, reporting to Department Managers, performance follow-up, costs allocation to activity/contracts/department Perform specific financial studies upon request of the Management Coordinate & Improve Financial Process in close collaboration with Financial Control, Sales Administration, Accounting Prepare financial information for the external auditors You have a Master’s degree in Finance or Economy You have at least 15 years of relevant experience in Finance You have experience in people management and in working with multiple entities You are fluent in English, Dutch and French Thanks to your solution-oriented mentality you feel able to optimize process You are a team-player, you are flexible, and you have great communication skills You like taking on new challenges You have previous experience in controlling
