Job Description : COO WORKSHOP AND FLEET DIVISION NIGERIA Reporting t o : Executive Management Job Responsibilities · Overall responsibility for the fleet business. · Overall responsibility for overseeing the efficient maintenance and operations of the trucks. · Overall responsibility for developing, costing and implementing detailed maintenance plan for the trucks. · Setting up of maintenance infrastructure including Equipments and spare parts · Building a sustainable team for the business. · Overall responsibility for the type and specifications of trucks to be acquired · Overall responsibility for the development, costing and implementation of sustainable fleet renewal plan for the fleet business. Candidate Requirement: · Must have 7-10 years' experience in Fleet Management particularly operations and maintenance in a hands-on capacity. · Must have experience in planning, setting up and running maintenance infrastructure/yard for the maintenance of heavy duty trucks. · Must have experience in developing, costing and implementing maintenance programmes for heavy duty trucks. · Must have experience in managing maintenance engineers and truck drivers. · Must have experience in setting up and running trucking operations such as managing truck positioning and lead times. · Candidate should be required to travel across the country. Key Skills Required: · Proficiency in the use of software's and applications for the efficient maintenance and operations of trucks and general fleet management applications · People management and leadership skills
