General Manager

Job Description : COUNTRY GM PHILIPPINES FOR CHEMICALS a global leader in specialty chemicals. They are currently looking out for a talented and driven Country Manager to spearhead business growth in the Philippines. As the Country General Manager, you will be responsible for strategy and execution of the sales and marketing plan, and manage business in the Philippines while building key relationships with suppliers and customers. Your primary responsibilities include: · Develop mid and long-term strategy for achieving a profitable long-term business growth · Spearhead the sales teams to develop and execute strategy for continuous business success · Drive safe and ethical business practices in accordance with the company business ethos · Manage business P&L including key measures such as Gross Margin, Operating Expenses and Return on Assets · Lead the local technical center and activities in alignment with the company strategy · Seek acquisition targets and drive growth of business through acquisitions · MSc or Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering or related fields (MBA preferred) · Minimum 10 years' experience in leadership positions within MNCs · Ability to manage P&L with strong financial acumen · Strong leadership capabilities and high integrity · Excellent market-driven business development and strategy execution capabilities · Ability to develop and coach the team into a motivated and assertive organization
