Job Description : Chief Financial Officer - CFO Company : Edge Abu Dhabi EDGE is an advanced technology group established to develop disruptive solutions for defense and beyond. Solving real world challenges, it is dedicated to bringing innovative technologies and services to market with greater speed and efficiency Key Accountabilities: Developing robust financial reporting process, policies, procedures, budget controls for Entity and its subsidiaries Structuring and managing complex international joint ventures and defense stakeholder partnerships Providing strategic and financial inputs to enable key decision making processes including evaluation of new initiatives proposals and R&D Implementing deep dive industrial costing exercise and review of all products and services portfolio, to ensure proper margins and pricings Playing key supporting commercial role in securing multi-billion dollars contracts with customers Improving the organization supply chain and project finance capabilities Heading the risk committee of the organization as well as leading the implementation of the mitigation plan / actions Implementing digital transformation programs and new ERP and BI systems Improving cash management and enhancing coordination with Group Treasury Working closely with leading investment banks as well as local financial institutions to negotiate financing structures and preferential terms Training, coaching and developing a team of finance professionals Experience & Educational Qualifications: 15+ years experience, with at least 4 years in executive leadership positions Experience in defense or industrial companies is a strong plus Master’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance Certification in Finance related subject is required e.g. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
