Financial Controller

Job Description : FC AUSTRALIA Financial Controller role oversees operations of the Finance team, from daily P&L reporting, month-end, forecasting, cost reporting, AP, as well as annual accounts, audit and projects. Lead, manage and mentor a team of Accountants Ensure reporting is accurate, timely and analysed (Daily P&L, Board, Financial and Cost) Manage global budgeting and forecasting including timely variance reporting Manage annual group audit and financial reporting process Projects – ongoing adhoc projects including systems, trading strategies, accounting / tax / regulatory changes etc Manage treasury and global capital planning, reporting and operations 15+ years’ experience leading a Finance function within a financial services firm (preferably trading) with exposure financial markets products Strong manager and leader with a track record creating and leading high performing teams A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a numerate discipline CA / CPA or equivalent professional accreditation
