Job Description : PRODUCTION MANAGER TANZANIA Co. is mfg. a large variety of imported manufactured steel products beams to stainless steel products and much more. In order to meet customer quality requirement co. ensures all pipe products hydro testing to Electrical Resistance welded.(ERW) Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience: Candidate must have minimum of 10 years in depth practical knowledge on ERW Steel Pipe Mills, Slitting Lines and Shearing Line. Candidate have to supervise entire production department and Find cause of product failure and fix them on time Candidate is responsible for Prevent them from happening again and Find route cause of problem Candidate have to Guide employees to ensure tasks are done properly Candidate have abilities Involves motivation of workers to achieve higher productivity and efficiency Candidate have ability to Training of staff Candidate have to Plan daily workload and Set areas of responsibility for all subordinates Candidate should be able to Control utilization of manpower and overtime and Ensures coordination of all activities Candidate have to Monitors product standards and ensures the right parameters are followed by the operators in order to achieve the correct product Candidate have to evaluate whether objectives are met and Monitor quality of Rollers Candidate is responsible for Liaise with Mechanical and Electrical teams and inform them of all actions and delays Candidate have to Liaising with operators on regular basis to obtain feedback on production and machine Candidate have to maintain standards to safety and housekeeping Candidate have to apply technical knowledge and skills Candidate is responsible for Reduce costs by eliminating machine downtime and unnecessary downtime Candidate have to Check all production reports and report back to factory manager Candidate have ability to communicate and write properly in English
