Job Description : HEAD LOGISTICS GABON FOR MINING Job Responsibilities: - Expertise in procuring items, material management & supply planning and executing cost saving techniques & system implementation measures to achieve substantial reduction in expenditures - Resourceful in driving (inbound & outbound) logistics operations which encompass new route identification, fleet management and negotiating with freight forwarders for timely delivery of the materials required - Facilitating economical usage of Logistics Fleet Management of Vehicles for distribution of goods throughout the entities across all destinations by maintaining 5S, FIFO & location control inside the stores as per QMS & EHS standard. - Reduced transportation costs by finalizing contracts with primary carriers that resulted in reduced freight costs on domestic and international shipping routes - Ensured smooth movement of stock/ raw material from the store by taking Inventory measures - Experience in Mining Industry is mandatory. - Experience of working in Africa is desirable.
