Job Description : PLANT GM AUTO THAILAND An exciting Plant GM- Automotive (x1 vacancy) has just become available at one of the most reputable firms based in Bangkok. Reporting directly to the owner, this is for automotive candidates who is looking for no. one role to lead plant operations. The Plant General Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe running of plant by overseeing all daily operations, adequate operating resources provided, and streamlining logistics & supply chain activities. This is an ideal role for those who think and act like an entrepreneur. The role offers attractive base salary and performance bonus. Direct all aspects of business operations including material management, warehouse & logistics, purchasing, finance & accounting, HR & general administration, and employee engagement To revamp and restructure the business bottlenecks and drive change in daily business operations to ensure effective resources allocation are provided and proper solutions are given To implement and enforce all company policies including safety, manufacturing operations, quality, logistics, customer service, HR & general administration, finance & accounting and governance To provide suitable mentoring and guidance to leadership team and deploy all the action plans for the business To align directions with group policy and centralise communication to all stakeholders To support ongoing transformation within the organisation i.e. ERP Implementation To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to lead and unite effectively, possess a keen understanding of automotive & manufacturing operations and business acumen, change management experience will be a plus. Bachelor’s degree or higher-level qualification in engineering, supply chain, logistics, or related field with MBA is a plus At least 15 years’ experience in manufacturing environment from automotive in supply chain and operations functions with additional five years’ experience in upper management level Solid managing experience with proven track records as change agent and change management Ability to listen & integrate business needs with excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding negotiation capabilities Good command of Thai and English is a must due to the nature of its business
