Business Development and Maintenance Head
10 yearsJob Description : BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE HEAD DUBAI This is a Central role to generate profitable third-party O&M business for utility scale solar and wind projects across the globe. The candidate shall drive Company growth, increase Company market share and revenue, and develop long-term business growth strategies. The profile shall be responsible to generate prospects, lead proposals and deal closure, before handing it over to the O&M team to deliver services to those projects. This shall be through available portfolios of IPPs/Project Owners or through acquisition of O&M service providers operating in this space. This is a great opportunity to work in one of the biggest global organizations in Solar EPC and O&M space with an experienced team and fast paced environment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities (subject, but not limited to). · Define and implement O&M strategy across geographies · Secure third-party O&M projects as per assigned O&M strategy and business targets · Lead, negotiate and conclude business from EOI/RFQ stage through to Contract signing · Assess projects and conduct due diligence to ensure risks are identified and addressed · Lead the business development with support of O&M team · Manage client relationships and provide the highest level of service · Build and manage an effective pipeline of opportunities · Work closely with the management to identify and support Company growth · Monitor and evaluate industry trends and competition and feeding back important information · Lead marketing activities and represent SW at relevant networking events · Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. · Performs other related duties as assigned Skills/Qualifications · Proven leader with excellent network within the industry · Proven track record in Operation & Maintenance business · Proven ability to manage O&M and build effective working relationships with O&M providers · Excellent knowledge on the developing trends and technologies within the industry · Ability to conduct business in a professional, responsible, and collaborative manner · Highly motivated with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges · Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences · Strong leadership and development skills that mentor subordinates and provide an environment to develop employees for increased responsibilities and personal growth · Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills · Excellent interpersonal, team building and customer service skills. · Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP · Ability to contribute to an amicable team working environment. · Willing and able to travel to assigned markets and prospective project sites Education and Experience · Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or related field; Master's degree is advantageous. · 10+ years of total experience out of which minimum 6 years in the PV Solar (EPC and O&M) industry is desirable. · Successful track record of achieving and exceeding key metrics and objectives. Up to 40% domestic and international travel can be expected.
