Supply Chain Head

Job Description : SUPPLY CHAIN HEAD UAE The Head of Supply Chain ensures that the items and services are purchased from specified suppliers and are delivered according to agreed terms and conditions. Responsibilities: The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for, but not limited to, the following: 1. Head of Supply Chain directs overall supply chain operations, including but not limited to: Purchasing, Inventory, Selection of Vendors, Warehouse Management. 2. Develops and implements strategy to ensure that critical process run effectively and achieve organizational goals. 3. Manage the procurement and logistics personnel at HQ and on site. 4. Negotiates with the vendors / suppliers to obtain optimal contracts. 5. Monitoring and evaluates past performance and trends and forecast inventory requirements. 6. Accountable for control and co-ordination of planning transport, focusing on routing and optimization of transport activity related with collections and delivery as per company requirements. 7. Follow all applicable policies and procedures required for the successful execution of the job. 8. Analyzes inventories and procedures, create improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company. 9. Providing logistics solutions and operations covering all modes of international transportation. 10. Managing outbound and reverse logistics through effective relationships with suppliers and third-party logistics providers (3PL). 11. Keep track of logistics and update company’s inventory. 12. Analyzing supply chain data and performance 13. Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes 14. Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth. 15. Provide weekly reports on overall procurement and logistics status. · Bachelor’s degree in fields Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or any related discipline. · CIPS · MBA is preferred · Supply Chain Management · Excellent Communication Skills · Good Problem Solving Skills · Demonstrates Ethical Behavior · Significant sourcing experience is required for this role · Maximizes Team Effectiveness · Proven capabilities to build strong networks and influence board level decision makers. · Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting with an understanding of company’s financial and operational impact. · 10 years of relevant experience in a complex, multinational organization with significant intercompany trading. · Oil & Gas experience preferred · At least 5 years of senior leadership and expert levels in multi-site role. · Experience in Military / Defense Logistics / Procurement and /or Oil & Gas.
