Job Description : Logistics Manager - Johannesburg - South Africa - 1. Export to DRC - Daily & weekly loading planning - Ensuring packing list is prepared & shared with client on same day - Ensuring no shortage upon delivery - Tracking of each trucks from SA to DRC - Timely response to the queries from client, supplier & colleagues - Maximum capacity utilisation of trucks - Current transporter management - New transporter development 2. Import into SA - Ensure best possible service at best possible cost provided in respect of Forward and Clearing Local deliveries Export Clearance - Import shipments tracking and meeting the delivery timeline 3. Reporting - Master packing list on weekly basis - Transporter rates on monthly basis - KYC for transporters & clearing agents - Any other reports required by management 4. Inventory Management - Inventory control and quick turnaround - Verification of incoming stocks both quality & quantity - Ensuring health & safety compliance for warehouse 5. BV Inspection - Ensuring BV inspection is done for all stock movement from SA to DRC - Ensuring CRF is sent to clients within the timeline - Ensuring BV for imports into SA for DRC 6. Negotiation - Transport & clearing rate negotiation with transporter on monthly basis - Maximise cost saving 7. Fleet management & proper utilisation
