Accounting and Finance Manager 
10 yearsJob Description : ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE MANQAGER CAMEROON one of Africa’s leading petroleum distribution and marketing companies, is seeking an Accounting & Finance Manager, who will be responsible for responsible for managing the Accounting & Finance policies and procedures in the areas of compliance with IFRS standards, internal Reporting guidelines, Risk Management and in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and laws. The ideal incumbent will have experience with providing accurate, timely and complete management information in order to ensure that the company meets compliance requirements, operates within agreed budgets, meets capital employed targets and is in sound financial footing. Responsibilities: · Provide leadership in sound financial management of the company. · Develop, evaluate and implement processes and procedures for production of management reports used in decision making, to assure accuracy, timeliness and completeness. · Monitor accounting processes constantly to ensure that they are relevant to the business requirements, meet SYSCOHADA & IFRS standards, corporate reporting guidelines, external reporting and compliance requirements and that they are effective and efficient. · Ensure appropriate and timely application of the monthly balance sheet reviews and quarterly balance sheet team meetings between accounts custodians and accounts owners. · Ensure that the company meets Balance sheet quality KPIs targets. · Ensure appropriate usage by the Accounting and Finance Department of the ERP. · Ensure annual statutory and compliance audits are performed by due dates. · Ensure good corporate governance in the fields of finance, accounting and tax that support sound corporate governance of the business functions. · Establish and continuously evaluate effective and efficient risk management processes, tools and procedures. · Monitor and provide company leadership with results, trends, costs and business impact of the various business risks on an on-going basis. · In liaison with internal controls section and business management, identify, develop, implement, assess and monitor appropriate internal control processes, procedures and guidelines. · Implement and review cash and cash flow management systems, purchase-to-pay systems, inventory monitoring processes and credit management and monitoring tools to ensure that the company assets are acquired, recorded, reconciled and monitored timely, accurately and appropriately. · Ensure that tax management, tax planning & tax monitoring processes are ensuring full compliance and optimization in the best interest of the company. · Coordinate tax audit and relationships with the tax authorities as required. · Maintain and establish bank relationships as necessary · Ensure that the funding necessary to support the business and its development is in place · Manage excess funds and investments in line with the Group guidance · Ensure adequate sourcing of foreign currencies · Where applicable, oversee the A&F function and the preparation of the financial reporting as per Group requirements of JVs and financial participations of the company. · Oversee the procurement function at the affiliate level · Ensure that tendering processes are performed as per Group standards and are in full compliance with local regulations. Requirements: Qualification and Skill · At least 10 years’ experience in relevant field · University degree or equivalent in Financial Management · Fluency in English is required (speaking and writing) · ERP experience required · Extensive proven experience in Financial leadership position, preferably in a major Oil & gas distribution company (or Commercial and retail sector) Benefits and Contractual information: · Permanent
