Job Description : Logistics Manager: Helping to hire a Logistics Manager for a reputed Logistic company in Uganda. Job Description: 1. Managing customs clearance and inland transportation business 2. Designing and implementing end-to-end supply chain processes. 3. Maintaining good relationship with customs, governing departments, service providers, shipping line etc. 4. Solving and coordinating all exceptional issue and queries during customs clearance. 5. Cutting down clearance lead time and cost. 6. Tracking and Studying new Customs policy and update internal business process to match new policy. Job Requirements: 1. Bachelor degree or above from reputed university in related field. 2. Logistics experience of 8-10 years or above is preferred. 3. Good understanding of East Africa Import and Export Policies. Good understanding of the payment mode of international trade documentations: letter of credits, bills for collection, etc. 4. High energy and enthusiasm with an emphasis on teamwork and job enjoyment. 5. Sense of urgency and willingness to respond eagerly to opportunities and challenges. Other Criteria: 1. Age bracket between 40 to 45 years 2. Nationality: Indian 3. Initially bachelor status for a period of 6 months to 1 year 4. Candidates who are in East Africa or willing to relocate 5. Fully vaccinated and immediate joiners are preferred
