National Operations Manager

Job Description : NATIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER SYDENY AUSTRALIA Reporting into the GM, this role has been created to lead the Operation of all sites to maintain quality & 'on time' delivery of products to customers at expense not exceeding budget and to 'standards' as prescribed in the operating budget. Key responsibilities: · Plan, Develop and implement national production, quality and distribution strategy, contribute to project scope and strategy design for business critical projects as required · Implement contemporary management practices to encourage focus on continuous improvement across designated business function. Overall responsibility for performance of Production. · Regularly review quality and service data and P&L information to make recommendations and set annual production targets and KPI's · Regular review with the production managers of work-flow practices to make recommendations that will increase production efficiency. · Overall responsibility relating to logistics and warehousing in coordination with the Logistics Manager and site lead. Support Logistics Manager with the negotiation of contracts for service suppliers and facilitate effective service supplier relationships. · Actively work toward developing individual team members through regular feedback and management of the performance appraisal process. · Lead and direct discussion and action that promote a safe work environment. · At least 20+ years experience out of which 08 - 10 years leadership experience in a food production & logistics environment A MUST. · Proven and demonstrable experience in leading logistics and production teams effectively. · Solid leadership experience, show us how you manage and mentor to achieve optimum results both personally and for your team. · Ensure that the focus on quality of the products are reflected in all interactions and completion of tasks, with a high level of attention to detail. · Experience in the effective use of technology, resources and information to deliver work outcomes that will meet and exceed goals and support future growth
