Production Control and Logistics Manager

Job Description : PRODUCTION CONTROL AND LOGISTICS MANAGER THAILAND leading global automotive supplier to original equipment manufacturers based in Chonburi, Thailand. This is a role for an outstanding Production Control & Logistics Manager, equipped with comprehensive supply chain knowledge and material management skills, who thrives on challenging and exciting opportunity. This Production Control & Logistics Manager role reporting to Plant General Manager (Thai) is to manage logistics activities of the plant and ensure delivery of production lines with minimum stock & logistics cost including effective demand & supply planning, inventory & logistics management. This position is to lead PC & L team of 10 people. You will enjoy attractive allowance and bonus for this role. Lead and drive PC & L team to ensure smooth supply chain operations of demand & supply planning, production control & planning, inventory & warehouse management, and material planning Ensure effective supply chain resources allocation are provided and proper solutions are given in an economic manner Ensure sound supply chain methodology is implemented, maintained, and regularly improved and be able to proactively drive business objectives / KPIs to meet with business requirement Ensure customer satisfaction; supervise daily activities, anticipate customer requirements, and maintain good relationship with both local and overseas customers Collaborate with launching team to ensure smoothly launch of new products Develop and mentor staffs through open communication, training & development opportunities, and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies Bachelor’s degree or higher-level qualification in engineering or supply chain related with MBA is a plus At least 10 years’ experience working in global leading automotive manufacturers is mandatory Ability to listen & integrate business needs with excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding negotiation capabilities Solid knowledge & experience in customer order management, material planning, production planning & control and logistics management Ability to effectively organise, prioritise and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions, and solve problems independently
