Senior Process Engineer

Job Description : Sr. Process Engineer- Reno, Nevada- USA relocation provided. experience in low pressure molding, elastomeric materials and thermosets • Bachelor's degree in STEM required • Advanced understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electromechanical and thermal systems • Comfortable running complex machinery with high regard for safety • Basic CAD skills (Solidworks preferred) • High proficiency in computers especially Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word and Excel • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and in a calm manner What’s it all about? The Senior Process Engineer: ? Execute machinery and tool set-up, process optimization, repair and maintenance. ? Support production to maximize machine up-time and quickly remedy line down issues. ? Troubleshoot and define solutions to prevent production down-time. ? Support the design, implementation, and validation of injection molds, tooling improvements and new equipment. ? Define and execute process or materials DOEs ? Produce samples for FAI, Cpk, PPAP and any other requirements for NPI or SOWs. ? Champion continuous improvement projects toward improved quality, reducing cost or operator ergonomics and safety. ? Support the development of all production and quality documentation. Develop detailed work instructions and train production staff. ? Work closely with development engineers to determine new project scopes/solutions and identify any DFM concerns or method of make limitations. ? Support the development of preventative maintenance schedules on tooling and machinery for operations and maintenance teams. ? Work closely with quality team to ensure all defect modes are documented and have repeatable and verifiable inspection criteria.
