10 yearsJob Description : COMMERCIAL HEAD INDONESIA An exciting Head of Commercial (Alcohol Category) job has just become available at one of the leading multinational FMCG companies in Jakarta. This role is for an experienced customer marketing and commercial leader who would be responsible for the Indonesia market. About the Head of Commercial (Alcohol Category) Role: You will be responsible for leading and driving third-party distributors and dedicated teams ensuring they fulfil the company's objectives (quantitative and qualitative) by building and delivering market’s annual business plan (financial targets, pricing and distribution strategy, and marketing plan). Your main objective is to build desirability, equity and demand for the brands in the market to create a sustainable and profitable business that will maximise returns for shareholders and stakeholders. In partnership with other ExCo members, you will lead a team of trade marketers and be responsible for the growth and engagement of talents in the representative office. Co-build a five-year vision and co-construct the annual business plan with routes-to-consumer partners Assess and analyse route to consumers for respective distribution channels and brands Set targets by distribution channel, brand and quality. Review and take corrective actions Co-manage with finance teams, our annual and monthly forecasts, starting from sell-out performance and stock levels to deliver annual budgets for Indonesia Manage representative office ensuring compliance with local regulations, internal governance guidelines and account reconciliation Co-develop the brands’ strategies with cluster marketing team, build brand equity Monitor and give directions to the trade marketing team to achieve full implementation and flawless execution of plans and generate growing demand – in coordination with the distributor Identify new growth opportunities (brands/categories, new channels, new consumer segments) Identify and develop long-term trade partnerships Motivate, engage the talents in Indonesia, and be responsible for organisational changes to reflect business objectives Bachelor's degree from a reputable university Minimum of 10 years of experience in trade marketing within the FMCG industry in a complex and multicultural business environment Strong understanding of market trends, and customer and consumer behaviour Solid distribution experience is preferred Strong and self-driven leadership, people management, motivational and change management skills High level of commercial acumen and a solid grasp of financial management High aptitude for strategic thinking awareness and possesses very good analytical and interpretative skills Sharp negotiation skills
