Job Description : SALES AND MARKETING HEAD NIGERIA FOR LED LIGHTS N.R.I. FAMILY OWNED GROUP BASED IN NIGERIA NEEDS A SALES & MKTG. HEAD FOR THEIR NEW LED LIGHTS DIVN. Group has been in business in Nigeria since 40 years having diversified business interests. They have set up an LED Lights + Fittings Division to import and distribute LED Lights to Institutional and Wholesale customers. The LED Divn. will market a wide range of lights under our own brand, to make it the leading premium brand locally within 2 years. Successful candidate will plan and roll out the distribution network, appoint dealers and launch the marketing campaign. Approach various institutional customers and successfully obtain retrofit orders to change incandescent / CFL lights and bulbs to LED. He will also source the lights from reputable manufacturers in India and China, keeping a check on quality and prices. It is an interesting job with good long term career prospects for the right candidate having sound technical knowledge of LED Lights and Electrical Fittings and Switchgear etc. Good salary package with high savings in US$ and generous local perks. Required Candidate profile Right candidate should be aged between 30 and 45, although older candidates will be considered on merit. Must be a Graduate with a BCom or BBA or BMS degree from a reputable college/university, having worked with a LED manufacturer or a large LED lights distribution company in India for at least 5 to 7 years in different positions, in the field as well as in the back office. Someone who feels that his talent and skills are underutilized in India and who wants to take up new challenges and succeed in life and rise in his career rapidly. Must speak and write good English (this is a must). If candidate can drive then this will be a definite advantage. We want a real go getter, hard working results oriented person.
