Job Description : BDM PHARMA OUT OF BURMA · Identifying new business opportunities from an untapped global territory of Pharma, Biotech and Digital companies by presenting the value of Pharma's unique offerings (both syndicated and consulting) to Brand Leaders, Heads of Intelligence and C-Level executives. · Uncovering our pharmaceutical clients' business information needs across a range of functions, including competitive intelligence, product marketing, market research and medical affairs that our four intelligence streams provide solutions. · Managing the new business sales process from initial lead preparation, introductory call and online capabilities demonstrations through to proposal and close. · Generating a consistently strong pipeline of new opportunities to exceed achievable yet challenging quarterly sales targets and ensuring all data is captured and updated in our CRM and sales forecasts provided weekly to senior management. · Account Management of all new business subscriptions closed to ensure the company renewal rates are maintained and improved. · Collaborating with the analyst team to identify new sales opportunities, campaign messaging and timely delivery of our insights to help solve client's business problems. · Providing input on new product development projects ('voice of the customer') and developing sales strategies and tactics to penetrate new markets. · Building long lasting relationships with key industry decision makers that lead to new upsell and cross-sell opportunities. · Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will receive excellent sales coaching and training and be responsible for growing the business development function of Pharma with opportunity to mentor and manage new team members in the future. Required Candidate profile · You will have at least 7 years' B2B sales experience. · Educated to a minimum of degree level, science or business related degree preferred. · Highly self-motivated, target driven and with a proven track record of consistent over achievement against monthly and quarterly sales targets. · Articulate with outstanding written and oral communication skills. · Experience selling new services to the C-suite and corporate director level. · A strong understanding of the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Industry and the way that business intelligence can support this industry is desirable. · Ability to learn and apply new industry knowledge, sales processes and techniques quickly and effectively to demonstrate faster results.
