Logistics Manager

Job Description : LOGISTICS MANAGER CAMEROON Expatriation Position: Based 100% in Yaoundé, Cameroon – Central Africa. looking for a Logistics Manager to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. You have full understanding of the way an organization and a logistics department operates to meet its objectives, know to work on ERP and make sure that things are done based on the system with ability to monitor and organize store, the distribution and availability of goods. Plan and manage logistics, warehouse and transportation, and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieved desired organizational outcomes. You have ability of Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers, of directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle. You are highly organized, detail oriented, have good problem solving skills and outstanding communication skills – verbal and written, a positive attitude. You have ability to understand the viewpoint of higher management and effectively analyse complex problems, to quickly master new technical and business knowledge, can take quick and approximate actions in varied management situations, this job is for you. You will directly report to the COO/DCOO/Group Board. In this role, you will serve as a referent and a leader, to advice people and provide thoughtful, progressive and strategic guidance. · Work on ERP and make sure that things are done based on the system with ability to monitor and organize stores, distribution and availability of goods · Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services · Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle · Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers · Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency · Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments · Resolve any arising problems or complaints · Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce · Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets · Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements · Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements · Bilingual – English & French · Great mastery of the use of end-to-end ERP software · Outstanding communication skills – verbal and written. · Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff · Proficient in standard logistics software · Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills · Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects · Excellent interpersonal skills. · Highly organized. · Detail-oriented. · problem-solving skills. · Excellent organizational and leadership skills. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics system applications. · Positive attitude. · Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager · Record of successful distribution and logistics management · Proficient in standard logistics software · Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills · Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects · BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
