Tax Manager

Job Description : Tax Manager - CA - Dar Es Salaam , Tanzania Role purpose for Tax : Oversees client's tax policies and objectives. Monitors reporting and planning to ensure compliance with applicable tax statutes. Ensures accuracy of tax returns and works to minimize client's tax obligations. Tax senior need to be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected on this role. Key accountabilities — To perform all activities related to tax as tax consultant including engaging with clients and tax authority and reporting to Tax partner — To reply all tax queries raised by Tax Authority. The candidate should possess good tax writing skills in English. — Experience as core team member in Settlement Petition matter in the case of Search Proceedings. — To prepare tax computation, Transfer pricing and manage compliance activities and systems of the clients. — Knowledgeable to handle tax appeal case, tax objection or tax dispute issue and resolve in professional manner — Compiled, update and maintain all financial models to be used for the tax computations, tax reconciliations and tax payments — Assist to develop and/or improve information systems supporting the tax function and simplifying the tax compliance activities — To Review the tax system of Tanzania and advise the client on the Compliance including preparation of Tax manual, Transfer pricing and guide in proper tax planning. — Self – development, coaching and mentoring junior tax staff ie. To provide Tax training to the tax team on regular basis and provide tax insight to clients. — Excellent interpersonal skills Qualification — Must have technical / professional qualifications: — University Master and Bachelor Degree in Taxation and Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution is necessary. — CA — Age Limit -28 years to 36 years Package - US$1,500 Plus US$250 local Allowance Contract Term :- 2 Years Travel - Once in 2 Years Accommodation Company Provided Local Allowance will be Given for Food and Local Exps
