Job Description : MECHANICAL MANAGER NIGERIA FOR THERMAL PLANT · Minimum 10 years hands on Mechanical Maintenance experience in Thermal Power Plant with >25MW · Hands on experience in CFBC Boiler and Turbine maintenance · Responsible for Daily Job planning, manpower allocation, material Management. · Planning the preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance works and accomplishing the same as per budget and available spares. · Must have good experience in maintenance of Turbine, Boiler, CHP, AHP, Compressors etc. · Overhauls of power plant equipment, such as Boiler Feed Pump, Condenser Vacuum Pumps, Different Heavy Duty Pumps and Valves, Heat Exchangers etc. · Implementing proactive / predictive / preventive / shut down maintenance schedules for machinery so as to increase machine up-time / equipment reliability. · Leading and supervising teams of Engineers, Supervisors & Technicians (including contractors) who will be required to work with other sections and departments to ensure that the plant is operated and maintained in a safe and effective manner; · Excellent technical knowledge of large rotating plant and associated equipment such as Steam Turbines, Outage Planning and Plant improvement projects. · Experience at engineer level in the power sector. · The ability to handle multiple work projects running together · A good working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and standards to IOSH or equivalent Desired Candidate Profile 1. Qualified degree in Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering is must 2. Excellent technical knowledge of large rotating plant and associated equipment such as Steam Turbines, Outage Planning and Plant improvement projects. 3. Experience at engineer level in the power sector. 4. Must have good experience in maintenance of Turbine, Boiler, CHP, AHP, Compressors etc. 5.
