Job Description : FINANCE MANAGER AUSTRALIA FOR HOSPITALITY • $100,000 - $110,000 + super • Industry experience an advantage, not essential • Newly created role reporting to the Financial Controller Your role will be to provide financial support and advice to the Financial Controller. You will also provide leadership and direction to the team. This includes meeting statutory requirements by providing accurate information via financial management and corporate reporting, budgets, forecasts, evaluating and improving operational systems and procedures. Prepare month end reports, reviewing the financial performance and providing analysis and strategic recommendations to the hotels Responsible for the monthly forecasts and preparation of the annual budgets for the properties Prepare account schedules and financial reports in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements Maintain the general ledger for the nominated hotels including completion and review of reconciliations Responsible for the monthly forecasts and preparation of the annual budgets for the properties Assist with monthly forecasts and preparation of the annual budgets for the properties Provide analytical support during budget reviews to identify cost saving and productivity opportunities Ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets, improve operations and profitability To be considered for this position you should be a fully qualified CA/CPA accountant or similar, who has previous experience in a leadership role. Previous experience in the hospitality industry would be beneficial, but not essential. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively to help the organisation achieve its strategic goals.
