Supply Chain Head

Job Description : Head SCM (Logistics, Warehousing, and Procurement) Reporting To - Managing Director Location - Ilupeju, Lagos, Nigeria. Job Scope: - Drive Strategic Supply Chain Initiatives and Business Process Re-engineering for the organisation. - As part of the Management Committee responsible for functional thought leadership, provide executive direction for the organization and drive results - Digitalization the Supply chain processes and introducing industry best practices - Strategize end to end supply chain operations including Planning, Warehouse Operations, Logistics and Local Procurements - Leading and governing the Planning Process and supply chain scale up strategy - Inventory Management, DC Operations, Last Mile Delivery. - Establish the S&OP Process for organizational alignment between commerce platform and supply chain - Designing the Long term network model to optimize overall supply chain cost and customer service - In-charge of the Resource and Space Upscaling for the DC. - Set up the Demand Planning Framework the orgnanisation. - Lead the incorporation of new categories into the ambit of Large SCM portfolio Job Specification: - Supervising the team of Managers and staff members at Head Office. - Demand Planning - Lead monthly S&OP process with forecasting, consensus demand planning with commercial, and finalizing quarterly business target for each SBU - Supply planning - liaise with manufacturing & importing countries on production planning and replenishment (through APO SNP & PPDS) - Lead Raw Material Supply Planning. - KPIs managed: Case-fill, Demand Planning Accuracy (DPA), Inventory, SLOB, SKU portfolio, Cost-savings - Reviewing promotional plans along with Sales and Marketing and incorporating in forecasts. - Assigning the targets, generating and executing plans to achieve key performance parameters of the department like MAPE, SOFR, RSL and VSL, Production Compliance. - Collaborating with factories and contract manufacturers to ensure production realization Setting and managing appropriate inventory norms for Finished Goods to meet required service level. - Planning for long term (5 years) to arrive at Capacity bottlenecks, capture future trends, make Investment/ Make Vs Buy decisions. - Acting as a single point of contact from supply chain with marketing, manufacturing and technology to introduce and roll-out new products. - Conceptualizing and executing Business Excellence programs, creating Culture of Innovation in Supply Chain, NVA, Cost and Risk reduction across various domains of Supply Chain Warehousing, Materials Management and Factory logistics management . - Productivity management of automated and manual warehouses, factory OPEX/ CAPEX budgeting, Contract Management Remuneration Structure : Overseas Salary/ Savings (Tax Free, Transferred to NRE Bank A/c in India, payable on quarterly basis) + monthly local salary + Performance Bonus + Fully furnished accommodation + company maintained car with driver + Domestic help allowance + School Fee reimbursement (equivalent to Indian School, Lagos) for 2 children + Medical reimbursement + Insurance for self + LTA to the home country once a year with 30 days leave with tickets.
