FP & A Manager

Job Description : FP & A MANAGER MALAYSIA An exciting FP&A Manager job has become available at one of the fashion retailers. Prepare strategic plans, annual budget and quarterly forecasts including establishing assumptions, analysis and presentation preparation review and analysis by brand Proactively provide business insights and recommendations to drive business performance and operating efficiencies Perform capital investment appraisals with the use of financial models for decision making purposes, and assist with the writing and review of investment papers Participate and support in the automation of reporting/forecasting process, enhancement of business processes/workflows Conduct ongoing in-depth market and competitor benchmarking analysis for the region and establish and maintain database of retail performance indicator benchmarks and regional macro-economic data Liaise with the finance team on accounting, audit and tax issues, legal on legal-related matters and analyse the impact on the forecasts and cash flow projections To succeed in the FP&A Manager job, you will need to have strong analytical and Excel modelling skills, and familiarity with financial modelling and scenario analysis. Degree in accountancy or ACCA/CIMA/Chartered Accountant and have at least 15 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the commercial finance/business analysis experience in the retail/FMCG industry A self-driven, independent individual who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal and report writing skills Proficient in finance and accounting software, e.g. SAP (including BPC), Tableau Able to multitask, be proactive, work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines
