Job Description : Head- NPD & Tool Room - THAILAND A Leading Group in Auto Components Manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: - * Responsible for all R&D, NPD & Tool Room activities, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies and objectives. * To ensure all product designs are fully validated to OEM and Organization’s specifications prior to release for production. * To ensure and execute full analysis of customer specifications before RFQ submission to the customer. Support business representatives for technical discussions with customers. * To get detailed specifications from customers and ensuring production as per specifications given by customers. * To measure and ensure Customer Satisfaction, Quality, Cost and Delivery for both internal and external deliverables. * To manage Tool Room, allocating jobs, machine scheduling, managing people, process planning & scheduling. * To ensure troubleshooting and solving technical problems, proper upkeep & maintenance of Tools & Instrumentation systems to minimize production loss and production downtime and to promote efficiency. * To be proficient in handling Capital resources for manufacturing of dies, jigs, fixtures and tooling equipment with latest technology. * To assist production head in developing the short term and long term tool maintenance strategy for the company in line with the overall production plan. * To contribute to the achievement of target production quantity as per stipulated quality and cost standards by ensuring appropriate tool maintenance, rework or replacement of the tool. * To ensure minimizing production disruptions owing to breakdowns due to tool maintenance. * Prepare the annual Tool Room budget and forecasts all Capital Expenditure. Required Skill Sets: * Analytical Skills and deep understanding of operations in manufacturing auto components industry and sound knowledge of related financial aspects. Candidate- * B.Tech or Diploma (Mech) having 15-18 years of experience in reputed Tier-1 Auto Components Industry having products of Machining Components. * Good experience in Designing of machining components & Development as per customer requirements. * Good experience in heading Tool Room . *Hands on experience on machining of automotive components especially CNC & VMC machines. * Good Knowledge of machining processes of Castings, Forgings etc.
