Job Description : GLOBAL PROCUREMENT MANAGER INDIA Leading European Specialty Chemicals company is looking to hire a Global Procurement manager. The candidate must have: - 25 years of overall experience - 6+ years experience in Global raw material procurement - Exposure to Specialty Chemicals or Chemicals industry - Handled a procurement budget of 300cr+ - Good exp at Strategic purchase projects/program management - Set new systems and processes - Lead a team of 15-20 buyers - Good knowledge of SAP/ERP - Traveled extensively - Exposure to Matrix reporting and effective stakeholders management - Qualified in Chemistry Job Role a. Global sourcing of raw materials, supply chain, demand management, marketing intelligence, stakeholders' management b. Managing global and local Indian suppliers c. Develop technical understanding, act as a commercial supporting partner towards technology functions in mastergrind development d. Set the agenda for the Global Sourcing Manager and the goals of technical suppliers development team Key Skills a. Handled complexity, strong analytical mindset, seasoned and successful global negotiator b. Hands-on, can and will do attitude, agile, drive and commitment, culture fit, influencing skills, entrepreneurial mindset c. Business fluency in English d. Travel:25 to 40% .1 to 2 trips every year to the Headquarters (Europe), trips to North America, Latin America, China/Africa, etc. e. Attend international exhibitions, conduct supplier's audit globally
