Lead Engineer

Job Description : Lead Engineer- Die Casting Process & Tooling ETHIOPIA Education Qualification: NTTF / IGTR Diploma (First Preference) / Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Mechanical with Catia/UG or any CADD software Experience: 10+ Years in core High pressure Die casting part & process development Job Description: 1) Support the release of HPDC Tool designs by verifying that specifications of customer Drawings are meeting 2) Support in the development of new products and processes being launch to production. Ongoing feedback to Industrialization. 3) Implement process in additional production dies and machines. ( Like Trimming, Shot blasting, Powder coating,Cleaning,Packaging) 4) APQP all phase management & support SQA for timely documentation 5) Working knowledge of GD&T, ability to read and understand product prints and specification, AUTOCAD, AIAG Standards is required. 6) Suggesting the Tooling change/Gating system based on Simulation studies 7) Designing of Machining fixtures / Trimming Tools 8) Technical feasibility Review with Supplier & Customer for Part Drawing 9) Process design as per drawing requirement 10) Ability to understand US drawing & familiar with NADCA (The North American Die Casting Association) standard 11) Responsible for process development and continuous improvement 12) Die/tooling Trials monitoring & suggesting changes, modifications 13) Verifying all Drawing feasibility before Project Kick-off 14) Lead and refine the DFM process (Manufacturing, Assembly, Supply Chain, Cost, Serviceability, Sustainability, Reliability, Safety, etc.) and work closely with product design engineering teams to ensure that critical changes are incorporated in a timely manner. 15) Lead HPDC process stabilization to establish a stable and robust process that can be handed off to production personnel
