Job Description : Accountant - Diversfied manufacturing & Trading Group - Lagos, Nigeria 10-15 years experience Job description Roles and Responsibilities · Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries · Keeping an eye on incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable · Creating company financial reports with the above information included · Analyzing data collected in order to determine the state of the company’s financial health · Analyzing data to understand where the company is generating and losing revenue · Examining the proficiency of the software programs used to organize data. · Preparing all monthly, quarterly and yearly tax reports and ensuring that necessary filings and payments are completed on time. · Perform treasury function including handling and controlling of payments to vendors and handling of cash. · Managing the company assets register. · Ensuring that insurance cover for all assets is adequate and are in line with organizational requirements. · Working with team members and management to complete any other duties as may be required. Salary and Benefits: 2000- 2500 USD per month + Local allowance and shared accommodation (Bachelor Status) Air Ticket and LTA once a year Desired Candidate Profile · Working knowledge of corporate tax laws. · Proficiency in Accounting Software (Tally and ERP) and Microsoft Office suite. · Candidate must be willing to relocate to Lagos, Nigeria. · Manage all accounting transactions · Prepare budget forecasts · Publish financial statements in time · Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings · Reconcile accounts payable and receivable · Ensure timely bank payments · Compute taxes and prepare tax returns · Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements · Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity · Good oral and written communication skills · Good team player. · Time management. · Attention to detail. · Interpersonal, Self-Management and Leadership skills · Strong sense of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment. · Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect trade secret Perks and Benefits (Bachelor Status) Air Ticket and LTA once a year
