Senior Accountant

Job Description : Senior Accountant for an edible oil company based in Abu Dhabi. Job Description – • Validate periodic reports (e.g. monthly, quarterly, year-end). • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents. • Support the preparation of annual budgets of the company and respective forecast. • Review various import costings to ensure proper and complete accounting of inventory purchased. • Review production costs from Cost Accountant for reasons on any deviation from budgeted/planned costs. • Review month end financial schedules to ensure that all income and expenses have correctly been accounted for and that the Financial Statements to be released comply with IFRS. • Prepare and update future projections, BCP/ DRP at regular intervals. • Verify the accuracy of vouchers, payments and SAP documents. • Prepare and submit of VAT workings, returns and resolve queries with FTA • Plan, manage, distribute, and direct activities of the department to ensure smooth functioning Education - #CMA or ACCA or CA or CMA (Inter) or equivalent. Experience – Must have 10+ years experience out of which 5+ years of experience in UAE. Salary – Upto AED 15,000/-
