Job Description : Head-Supply Chain-Frozen Foods" Location-Pune Client-Leading Company into Frozen Foods Salary-Up to 60 Lakh p.a. Education-Any Degree supported by Degree / Diploma in Materials Management. Experience-15-25 years’ experience in Warehousing, Transportation and Logistics management with 5 years managerial experience preferably gained from a frozen food manufacturing company OR Logisitc Company handeling food items for -25 Degree to -35 Degree. Experience to include transportation, warehousing, vendor management, import/export, customs clearance, manufacturing co-packers. general knowledge of supply chain and current industry practices and implementation. JD- 1. Manage Supply Chain with the objectives of improving quality, Cost and delivery performance. 2. To ensure an efficient and effective transportation logistics and in-market distribution systems throughout India are established and standards met to satisfy customers’ demands .Ensure delivery schedules are set and met. Ensure loading and unloading is done in such a way as to minimize damage to products. 3. To establish and maintain good relations with transport suppliers, 3PL and government officials 4. To plan, manage, develop, and control all logistic processes including transportation logistics, material control, planning and warehousing to ensure raw materials and finished products are in the right place and at the right time. 5. To manage the day-to-day activities of the logistic department to ensure maximum manpower efficiency and utilization. Ensure all policies and procedures are documented in procedure manuals for Warehouse, Purchasing and Maintenance. 6. To plan, manage and control of raw materials to meet with production demand and standard at the right quality. 7. Regularly review the supply chain cost and identify reasons for variance & opportunity areas. 8. Prepare 3 to 5 years supply chain strategy road map. 9. Adequate knowledge of digital supply chain. 10. Adequate networking with freight & warehouse vendors to identify alternate options & cost opportunity areas. 11. To plan, develop and manage warehouse operation standards and policies and procedures for asset and cash controls, product protection and delivery acceptance. To plan and manage warehouse layout for efficient material flow and space utilization and design of physical warehouse systems. To maintain warehouse machinery and equipment and ensure the health and safety and cleanliness of the warehouse. To maintain good warehouse records, to track product movement and aging. To manage the logistic hubs & the logistics team. To be responsible for appointment of distributors, legal compliances, audit, secondary distribution, payments etc. To ensure zero percent Damages, Extras, Pilferage and Shortage of products.
