Software Engineering Head

Job Description : HEAD OF SOFTWARE ENGINEERING THAILAND – INDIANS ONLY An exciting Head of Software Engineering has just become available at one of the fastest growing digital platform firm where has innovation and technology to drive digital product towards to the future. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of numerous small technical teams working together to create scalable software solutions. The salary range for this role is THB 200k - 2700k per month + flexible working hour + decent healthcare insurance. Develop and lead a team of software engineers in the areas of software design, development, testing, and deployment Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, scalable, and well tested applications Drive best practices through evolving systems through robust architectural design Collaborate closely with the Product team to generate high-quality outputs that add value to the consumer Collaborate closely with product and business counterparts to define strategy, prioritise work, focus, and drive execution Deliver on user demands and corporate objectives using an evidence-based approach 10years of experience leading people across several teams and mentoring engineers of all levels of experience At least ten years of experience programming software is preferred Expertise in Node.js Two to five years of relevant cloud-native computing experience Excellent command of the English language Expert level JavaScript/NodeJS knowledge Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, RDBMS, and NoSQL Understanding of cloud container management tools Understanding of serverless architecture and best practices A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science is preferred but not essential
