General Manager Operations

Job Description : GM Operations for manufacturing unit for Mumbai location. Education: BE/Btech Experience: Total 15+ Years Personal Qualities: · Result-driven & rich experience in Operational and business excellence, project management and operations while collaborating with multi-cultural, cross functional teams across globe and creating value.Certified Lean Six Sigma Black belt professional with practical experience of successful deployment of operational excellence in an organization. · Experience in Project management & Capex program management.Experienced in QMS, EMS, OHSAS, and IATF/TS 16949 systems with internal auditing skills. Job Descriptions: · Manage manufacturing process to ensure product delivery on time and under budget while maintaining quality standards.Conduct various programs for developing the OE culture. ·Build plan for Senior Leadership alignment & Commitment, End-to-End Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Services Optimization, Sharing & Adoption of Best Practices. Execute the plans through Key Business Indicators, Diagnostic Based Improvement, Operational Reviews and by Sustainable Process Capability enhancement. · Leading specially designed program to drive Cost, Culture & Efficiency in the organization. Effectiveness review, gap analysis & development of monitoring & controlling mechanism to track Balance score card & Annual Business Plan, Driving continuous improvement program by implementing KPIs, Operations/Business Excellence Model and associated plans to meet improvement objectives, Implementing best practices of Operations Excellence– Six Sigma, TPM, SMED, Lean Manufacturing concepts- KANBAN, Value stream mapping, Takt time calculation, Visual factory concepts, Standardization &Poka-yoke. · Implementing Lean and velocity projects to reduce the product cost. · Monitoring the progress and reviewing Six Sigma & TPM assignment scheduled as per master plan. · Facilitate the Circles to maintain the basic & working health of the equipment. · Improving the OPE by increasing the operational & performance of the equipment’s across the plant. · Executing cost saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in expenditures and work within the budget. · Instrumental in reducing rejections, rework level by QC tools. · Creating mechanism for Total Employee involvement. · Train the employees to be able in the approach, tasks and techniques of TPM & review its effectiveness. · Linkage of plant and process losses with skills of employees and developing the employees accordingly so as to improve company’s bottom-line. ·Framing policies for TPM and Six Sigma implementation and development of training material. · Customer complaint collaborating with production manager to identify and solves issue.
