Job Description : PLANT HEAD TANZANIA FOR TRAILERS 20+ years experience Role: • Facilitating achievement of monthly production target numbers, supported by a team • Preparing and implementing production plans; planning & prioritizing daily workload to achieve productivity standards & goals • Ensuring that all products are manufactured at the best acceptable standards possible; working to maximize productivity while adhering to safety policies and laws • Planning, controlling & troubleshooting quality issues; achieving zero breakdowns, zero accident & zero customer complaint • Tracking all supplies and maintaining inventory for smooth operations • Monitoring quality; improving processes through Lean & TPM • Reviewing workers performance and daily activities to ensure time, quality, zero defects and timely production; providing timely and ongoing feedback on performance-related matters to encourage excellent performance • Planning for day-to-day production related activities, developing schedules and allocating work for achieving monthly production targets; implementing standards and ensuring adherence to quality standards • Facilitating and leading culture transition through training, by improving awareness of global standards and outlining change process • Implementing plant systems for quality, production, HSE compliances to create safe work environment • Administering various plant functions such as: o Production Planning, Maintenance, Inventory and QA o Interfacing with Stores, Dispatch, Engineering Stores, Workshop, Purchase, Vendor Development, HR & Administration and SHE o Planning and effectuating predictive & preventive maintenance schedules for various equipment to increase machine uptime & equipment reliability • Spearheading various functions like resource management, input management, inventory management, manpower planning, training & development for achieving production and dispatch targets • Steering site, project, material & procurement planning as per project status and finalizing the vendors • Formulated & executed the production schedules in coordination with the Marketing Department and taking various initiatives for achieving the preset production targets • Playing a major role in managing: o New Product Development and enhancing capacity & utilization along with plant modifications & capacity expansion activities o Increasing the productivity through modifications, effective utilizations of resources, maintenance, thus minimizing the breakdowns as well • Steering spares and reducing the scrap along with procurement of critical spares along with maintenance of optimum inventory of engineering items, raw materials & consumables Looking for Candidate good experience in Automation Tooling, Quality Systems, Manufacturing Systems, Software Design and Development, out of the box thinker,
