General Manager

Job Description : GM BEVERAGES UAE a large group of companies, is looking to enter the beverage business. Hence, they are looking for a General Manager with commercial and business acumen to set up a beverage business who understands how to get the commercials off the ground. We are looking for a visionary and entrepreneurial spirit with outstanding experience in the commercial side of the beverage industry to take the business off the ground. The incumbent should be able to frame problems, propose solutions and lead a team to get the job done. Relevant technical, functional or industry experience is critical; however, the ability to lead and own a business of a similar size and complexity is an absolute must. You will · Set a vision/strategy/focus for the business area · Get the right people, organisational structure and cross-functional support in place. · Set goals (KPIs) and resource allocation (e.g. sales, R&D, marketing investments) and team alignment to hit targets · Align on functional resource allocation or budget · Move the ball forward, make decisions and get results in a given business area. · Align with the group leadership team and keep them updated with the progress · You would hold a bachelor's degree. · You must have 10+ years of experience in the commercial side of the beverage industry – This is an absolute must-have. · You should be fluent in English. · Your strength would be stakeholder management and go to market strategy. · You will come with an entrepreneurial mindset and a positive outlook.
