Job Description : Assistant Logistic Manager with a Leading company in Auto Accessories Industry. Location : Dubai Key Responsibilities: · Collaborate with Sales, Product development and Customer Service teams. · Order Management – Order Placement, Follow up and coordination with suppliers / internal teams for weekly report generation of order status. · Identify current process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner. · Ensuring for JIT shipments from suppliers in coordination with customers. ·Strong existing connections with the shipping agents and transporters for GCC shipment handling. ·Required to solve routine problems through general guidelines and setup check points. ·Thorough knowledge of import & export formalities for shipments from China, Taiwan, Thailand and India and export to all MENA region. · You will be an individual contributor as a part of a team, with a predetermined focused scope of work to provide constructive feedback to the management Key Skills : · Experience in handling global logistics especially from China, Taiwan, India and other East Asian Countries. · Previous working experience as supply chain or logistics guy preferably in automotive sector for 8 Years. · Critical thinker and problem-solving skills · Good time-management skills · Great interpersonal and communication skills · Negotiation Skills is a must. · Quick address to solve problems. · GCC Logistics knowledge Knowledge Required: § commercial knowledge § Shipping formalities & alternative route planning knowledge. § Organization culture, philosophy and current imperatives. § Functional processes and mandates of various departments. § Good English language skill – written and oral
